Watercolor Basics

Learn the basics of painting in watercolor in eight sessions that can be taken individually or as a series. Each session builds on the other to create a strong foundation for the beginning watercolor student and for those who wish to enhance or brush up on their color mixing skills.
The first hour will be spent creating color exercises with the remaining class time spent on executing a simple painting based on what we have learned. Students emerge from the eight-week course with their own personal watercolor reference journal, an invaluable tool when painting at home or on location.
