Hi Everybody!
Check out my awesome portrait, painted in oil by Mom's friend, Vicki Shuck.
I think she really captured my essence, don't you?
One of my favorite things is sunbathing. Even in winter.
Thanks, Vicki! You're amazing.
My mom's sister Cindy just sent this photo of Kuboi in a blanket.
Apparently, he spends the better part of Vermont winters all wrapped up in his blanket.
As if my life weren't fascinating enough, I thought you all would like to see some pictures of my cousins Kuboi and Stuart, purebred dachshunds who live in Vermont. Stuart is on the left and Kuboi on the right.
Hey, look at me!
I know. They say dachshunds should always be extra careful with their backs, which especially means no jumping. Ever since I was a puppy, I've always loved to jump, but mom discourages this activity the 'older' I get.
Last summer, my mom and Hunter decided to tackle Broken Top Trail here in Bend, Oregon.
Although my mom found it challenging (to say the least), it was a piece of cake for Hunter and me.
My name is Scout and my mom thought I was so cool I needed my own blog.
I'm a longhaired miniature dachshund, chocolate and tan. As you can see here in the photo, I'm a very handsome guy.
