Yesterday, while hiking along the Deschutes River, I stopped with Scout to sketch these flowers that were resting on a bench. I thought they were so beautiful in their dried state.
I had to work fast, though, because my little Scout was anxious to continue on with our hike - so I only had a few minutes.
It's amazing how blissful it feels to be painting in watercolor; if only for a few fleeting minutes!
